Charles Joseph Campo was born on June 28, 1957, in Rochester, New York, to Joseph and Dolores Campo. He attended Holy Family School for elementary school and graduated from Edison Tech in 1975. Charles had a natural talent for fixing things and was someone who could always be counted on to figure things out.
In his younger years, Charles enjoyed bowling and golfing. Throughout his life, he maintained a love of fishing and boating, with many fond memories made during yearly trips to Fair Haven, New York, with friends and family. He later developed an interest in gardening and enjoyed spending time outdoors, sitting in the sunshine, and taking walks with his beloved dog, Sookie.
Charles especially loved watching his grandson play hockey and took great pride in the time they shared. He also enjoyed listening to his favorite music, including The Band, MOB hits, and John Prine. His favorite television shows included Two and a Half Men, All in the Family, Boston Legal, and The Sopranos.
Charles was a social person who built lasting relationships with many friends. There were far too many friends to name, and he valued the connections he made throughout his life.
