Greece: April 4, 2016, at the age of 69. Predeceased by his parents two siblings. He is survived by his loving wife, MaryAnn (Mandell) Schmidt ; children, Lori (Greg Snyder) Schmidt Danielle (Jason) Lombardo; grandchildren, Andrew (Tara) Goodwin, Sadie Ellie Lombardo, Kyle, Jake, Nash Cole Snyder; great-grandson, Christian James Goodwin; sisters, Sue (Peter) Sahmel, Lynn (Robert) Flood, Carol (Allen) Weaver; mother-in-law father-in-law, Margaret Leo Foley; brother-in-law, Frank (Carol) Mandell; sister-in-law, Lisa Foley; many nieces, nephews, cousins dear friends. Chuck served his country in the United States Navy his community with the City of Rochester Fire Department, retiring as a Lieutenant. Charles's visitation will be held 3-7 PM on Wednesday, April 13th at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. His funeral service will be celebrated 10:00 am on Thursday, April 14th at the funeral home. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to School of the Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Parkway, Rochester NY 14623 in Chuck's memory.
