Charles is survived by his wife Shu Ping "Gennifer" Tong; children, Ashley Valone & Charlie Valone; step-son Wei (Lei) Li; grandchildren, Tarrik & Charles Li; nephews, Brian (Melissa) Ricotta & Kevin Ricotta; great-niece Samantha Ricotta. As a young man, he was a sports car enthusiast, his favorites being: Triumph, Toyota and Datsun. He attended Irondequoit High School and went on to graduate from RIT with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Charles was employed by Kodak as an engineer, working on government projects. He looked forward to family trips, he loved gardening, working in the yard and traveling to New York City. HIs favorite TV shows were Two & a Half Men and Big Bang Theory. He enjoyed Rock & Roll and Classic Rock music. Charles was a very generous person, often putting others first. He was hard working, detail-oriented, but was always social with an great sense of humor. Charles' visitation will be Thursday 2-4 & 7-9. His Funeral Service will be Friday 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
