January 27, 2020. David is predeceased by his brother, Anthony Chierico. He is survived by his parents, Joseph Frances Chierico; sister, Lucie Chierico; nephew, Timothy Joseph "TJ" Knight; niece, Frances Knight; uncle, Nicholas Ciminelli; several cousins dear friends. David's life story will be shared during his visitation, Thursday, January 30th, 2-4 6-8 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.). His funeral service will be celebrated, Friday, January 31st, 10AM at the funeral home, immediately followed by his entombment in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations to Wilmot Cancer Center, 300 East River Rd., Rochester, NY 14627 in David's memory. Frances Joseph Chierico made their family home on Straub Rd. in Greece. They raised their three children Anthony, David Lucie there. David was born April 11, 1961. He went to Craig Hill Grade School and later graduated from Athena High School in 1979. During his high school years David's harworking nature began with his first job at the Ponderosa on W. Ridge Rd. David always looked forward to family events. Anytime food, family and friends were together David was happy. Through the years David's knowledge of his family tree grew. He could tell you most any detail about his ancestry. He was definitely the keeper of family history. David was dedicated to his work. He was reliable and dedicated. The beginning of his career David worked at the Eastman Kodak, film paper manufacturing division. He was responsible for production and quality control. After working for Kodak for 19.5 years he then moved into working for various school districts. They included Greece Central School District, Webster School District and eventually the Pittsford-Mendon School District. He spent over 20 years in his most recent role and was close to retirement. David loved animals. The family dog and the responsibilities of caring for them regularly fell to David. In his free time he enjoyed wathcing TV Comedy's and listening to Easy Music Selections of the 70's 80's. David listened more than he spoke. He was quiet, intelligent and loved by all who knew him. He will be turly missed by his family friends.
