David A. Coccia
David was a dog lover. They were his constant companions and he appreciated them. There was Benny, and "Koda" (aka Dakota), and more recently "Magpie" (aka Maggie). Like most dog lovers, he enjoyed their steady and unconditional love.
He was born in the mid-1950's in Rochester and raised with his older brother Douglas and sister Dawn by his parents, Anthony and Rose Marie. He and his brother Douglas did a lot together. They were more than just brothers, they were close friends. David was later blessed with his wife, Karen; two children, four stepchildren and grandchildren to boot!
David attended RIT and earned a bachelor's degree in business management. His education helped him as owner of Farley Floor Fashions. In his spare time, he loved golfing, bowling, football, and most of all, spending quality time with his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to classic rock music and watching the NY Yankees and Notre Dame games on TV. Growing up he took pleasure in watching the "Gunsmoke" series.
He is described as a great communicator and a genuine, passionate and loving person. He was courageous and ambitious and will be missed by all who knew him.
