History Dave is survived by his sister Sue Reynolds; brothers Jerry (Grace), Stephen (Donna), Richard (Sue) George Reynolds; nieces nephews, Jackie (Dave) Perotto, Stephanie (Doug) Reynolds Smith, Kevin Reynolds, Colleen (Mike) Thompson, Ryan (Jessica) Reynolds; great-nieces great-nephews Caleb, Sadie, Mackenzie Joshua Thompson; many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Donations Donations may be sent to Benincasa, 3880 Rush Mendon Rd, Mendon NY 14506 in Dave's memory. Services Dave's visitation will be held 4-7 PM on Sunday at the funeral home (between Rte 390 Long Pond Rd). His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM on Monday at St. Joseph's Church of Penfield, 43 Gebhardt Rd. Interment in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Additional Information Dave is a graduate of Aquinas Institute in Rochester, and LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY. Upon completion of his degree, he worked for several years as a Case Work Unit Manager for the Onondaga County Department of Social Services before continuing his education at Syracuse University and embarking on a mechanical engineering career. He became a licensed professional mechanical engineer and LEED Accredited Professional and had 30 years of experience as a mechanical engineer and engineering manager. Dave's engineering experience included a diverse clientele including high security correctional facilities, educational facilities and worship spaces. Dave returned to the Rochester area and finished his career after 10 years at LaBella Associates in Rochester, retiring in the summer of 2010. Among his pastimes over the years were researching his Irish genealogy and following SU athletics. Dave was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Penfield for a number of years. He was a member of the Pastoral Council, the Chair of the Operations Leadership Team, and a member of the Building Grounds, and Development Committees. His retirement plans included relaxing, reading, listening to music, enjoying time with his family and friends, and using his experience and talents to make a contribution to the St. Joseph's parish community and mission.
