Survived by his mother, Emma Merkey; devoted wife, Delores (Tartaglia) Merkey; daughter, Christine (Ray Taylor) Merkey; Brian Merkey; grandchildren, Derik, Andrea Jaimalynn; brothers, Gerald (Cheryl) Merkey, Michael (Carol) Merkey; mother-in-law, Mary Tartaglia; sister-in-law, Antoinette Jeerings; several nieces, nephews beloved cousins, especially Dominic Diane Leone. Dennis was a Vietnam veteran retiree of Valeo (Delco). Dennis' family would like to thank all who came their loving care comfort, especially cousins Barb, Linda, Laura, Bob Andy. Our deepest gratitude to our special angels Kristen Kathy and all the tireless volunteers at Isaiah House. Dennis' calling hours will be held 4-8PM on Friday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Ln (between Rte 390 Long Pond Rd) His Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9 AM on Saturday at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park.
