Dolores is predeceased by her husband, Elmer “Ray” Vanderburgh; son, Michael Vanderburgh; parents, Joseph & Margaret Skirment; brother, Robert Skirment; & friend, Jean Blim. She is survived by her daughters, Carrie (James) Brien & Linda Cavey; daughter-in-law, Karen Vanderburgh; grandchildren, David Cavey, Stacey McCann, Lori Cavey, Kimberly (Ben) Rudd, Matthew (Cheryl) Vanderburgh, Joseph Vanderburgh, Kiefer Brien, Sydney Brien; special granddaughter, Lisa Cimino; friend Nancy Chiapperi; many great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends.
Dolores’s life story will be shared during her visitation, Friday, January 2nd, 3-5 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 3, 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist (Greece), 2400 W. Ridge Road, Rochester, New York 14626. Immediately following, Dolores will be laid to rest in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692, in Dolores’s memory.
