Gates: February 7, 2014 at age 91. Predeceased by his wife, Ida R. Chiappone and his sister, Rose Cerone. He is survived by his children, Michael (Kathleen) Chiappone, Elaine (Terence) Kuchman; grandchildren, Jason Carter, Amanda Kuchman, Katie (Brandon) Kline, Alaina Chiappone; sister, Sophie Serio; sister-in-law, Rose Marie Cerone; several nieces nephews. Dominic was a WWII Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 98. Many thanks to the nurses aides from the VA, Latta Nursing Home, and the Wegman family cottages. Dominic's funeral mass will be on Saturday at 9:30 am at St. Theodore's Church (168 Spencerport Rd.) Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Dominic was born on July 7, 1922 in Rochester, NY to Michael Delia. He was raised in Rochester with his 2 sisters and attended Jefferson High School. After high school, he joined the US Navy and while serving in Pensicola, FL, married the love of his life, Ida on Jaunary 24, 1944. Together they enjoyed their children and their grandchildren. Dominic will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
