Dora (Perrotta) DiSchino Passed peacefully on February 27, 2020 at 100 years old. Will be sadly missed by her three children: Annette (Paul) DeCarolis, Vincent DiSchino, and Mary (Jo) Whalen; eight grandchildren: Louis (Cindy), John, Jerry and Sally DeCarolis; Jodi and Chris (Nikki) DiSchino, and Joe and Michael Whalen; seven great-grandchildren: Michael, Nicole and Giana DeCarolis, Zuraya Long, Andrew Catanese and Hailey and Dominic DiSchino; and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends. Predeceased by her husband, Sal, after nearly 73 years of marriage; daughter-in-law, Cathy DiSchino; son-in-law, Fred Whalen. Also awaiting her heavenly arrival are her seven siblings: Minnie (Mike) Fisher, Freddy (Agnes) Perrotta, Fannie (Sam) Constantino, Nellie (Sam) Cerra, Marie (Pat) Albanese, Anna (George) Giuliano and Betty (Mario) DiMuro. Dora defined a true homemaker and offered a warm welcome and Italian food delicacies to family and friends. She touched so many lives with her smile, wave and youthful spirit. The last chapter of Dora's life was spent at the Village at Unity where she was a regular participant in many activities. A special thanks to Dora's faithful caregivers for their love and devotion.
