History She is survived by her daughter, Catherine (David) DiNicola; grandchildren Kathy (Dennis) Addis, Susan May, Randy Cook, Michael (Stacey) DiNicola, Philip (Annette) DiNicola, Daniel DiNicola, Jeanine (Bowen) Berard, Daniel (Rose) Cook, Jacqueline Cook, Julie (Robert) Pittman, Shannon (Kelly) Hansbury; 15 Great-grandchildren; 3 Great-Great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Donation Information In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Good Days Special Times, Inc., 1332 Pittsford-Mendon Rd., Mendon, NY 14506-9732 in Doris' memory. Services Doris' Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 AM at St. Theodore's Church 168 Spencerport Rd. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Additional Information Doris was social and loved to volunteer her time coordinating events. She was President of the Hudson ridge Towers Volunteer Association, organized many bus tours and social gatherings. Doris like the simple things in life. She enjoyed her sweets and nothing was more important to her than family and her grandchildren. She was kind hearted, sweet, generous and was "Grandma" to a lot of people beyond her relatives. Doris was always ready to travel on life's next trip and looked forward to her next Bingo outing. Doris enjoyed the holidays. She especially enjoyed Thanksgiving, its food, slower pace and times spent with those she dearly loved. Doris worked for over 44 years at Hickok Manufacturing Company before she retired. She moved from Gates NY to Hudson Ridge Towers, where she shared many great times with her sisters Gladys and Avis. Doris served as a Volunteer for the Rochester Housing Association, helping Ridge Hudson with the set-up of the weekly bingo games and crafts and the daily lock outs. She enjoyed traveling and organized many day trips thru Trailways for her senior group of friends. Doris (Dorey) was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Friend.
