Years later, he and his close friend, Bill Barber decided to move to Rochester. Edward met and married Diane. Their four sons went on to have 8 children of the own. He really loved the baby years with all of his kids and grandkids and was always their biggest fan when they played their sports. He himself was very active in sports. He would spend 4-5 nights a week playing fastpitch softball as an lnfielder, with tournaments on the weekends. Bowling was another love of Edward's that he enjoyed in his free time. He played, but he also like to watch his favorites on TV. The Cubs, the Braves, the Mets and the Bills were his favorite teams. You may have also caught him watching his favorite show MASH when his teams weren't playing. He loved music too, Country Western, Disney music and hits from the 60s-70s-80s. And then there were the trips with his wife Diane to Hawaii where they soaked up the sun and enjoyed some time together. Edward was social, active and had a great sense of humor, a bit outspoken with a limited filter. Some of his favorite sayings: "If you're going to cry I'll give you something to cry about," "Go to your room!," and "Do as I say, not as I do."
