Surrounded by his family, Ed died peacefully on August 25, 2025.
Born in Liverpool, NY, to Henry and Sarah Lennox. After graduating from high school, he began a 33-year career at Eastman Kodak Company. During which time he also served his country in the U.S. Army. He married the love of his life, Carol, in 1960. Together, they raised their 10 children.
Retiring from Kodak in 1986, Edward drove a school bus for Greece Central Schools. He was known as “Mr. Ed” to the children who rode his bus. Throughout the years, Ed enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his family. He loved his annual fishing trip to Black Lake with his sons and sons-in-law. Being a papa came naturally to Ed. His grandkids will remember the red Twizzlers he always had in his shirt pocket for them.

He is survived by his 10 children: Kathleen (William) Slocum, Michael (Lisa) Lennox, Christine (Mark) Faulkner, David (Susan) Lennox, Patricia (George) Grimshaw, Cheryl (Stuart) Mazeau, Ellen Davis (Steve), Edward (Shannon) Lennox, Daniel (Shannon) Lennox and Sarah (Jerry) Smith.
