Moyer, Elda (Frezzini) Gates: December 7, 2016. Elda is predeceased by her husband Ernie Moyer. She is survived by her sons, Vincent (Liz) Moyer & Ernest Moyer; grandchildren, Anthony (Crystal) Moyer, Alexandra Moyer, Jackie Moyer, Julia Moyer & Evan Moyer; great-granddaughter, Madison Moyer. Elda's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, December 12th 9:30 AM at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Rd., followed by her Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Breast Cancer Coalition, 840 University Ave., Rochester, NY 14607 in Elda's memory. Elda was born to her parents Mario & Maria Frezzini April 27, 1922 in Suzanville, CA. When Elda was 7 she and her family moved to Scurcola-Mariscana, Italy. After marrying Ernie Moyer in 1960 at Santa Susanna Church in Rome, Elda and Ernie returned to the States to begin their family. Elda was known for giving a hug and a kiss to family, friend and strangers. She was kind, patient, out spoken, simple and very traditional. She was a voracious reader. She enjoyed reading Sci-Fi and Mystery Novels. She also enjoyed watching and listening to Lawrence Welk. Family was the most important aspect of Elda's life. She always looked forward to Christmas and having all of her family together. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
