Eleni P. Giamos

Greece, NY: February 28, 2026. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter (2011), and sister, Angeliko (2021). She is survived by her devoted son, Stavros (Cleo) Giamos; her cherished grandchildren, Eleni and Angela Giamos; sister Stamatou; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins both here and in Greece.

Born in Chios, Greece, Eleni came to America in 1960 with her husband to begin a new life. Together, they were proud owners of McGillicuty’s Cafe in downtown Rochester, where they created lasting friendships and fond memories.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7th from 9-10 am at Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 962 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607, followed by her funeral service at 10 AM. Eleni will be laid to rest in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Greek Orthodox Church in her name.
