Elsie died peacefully on October 21. 2014. Predeceased by her loving husband of 37 years, Ernest Mueller; sisters, Valda Iacelli Fedora Vorrasi. Survived by her devoted nieces nephews, Ferdinand (Darlene) Vorrasi, Rita (James) De Lucia, Annemarie (Vorrasi) House, John Vorrasi, Linda Iacelli, James (Sue) Carboni and Renate (Hans) Schmitt; several great-nieces nephews, godchildren and close friends. She was a graduate of East High School and worked for the (then) Haloid Company and Xerox Corporation as an administrative assistant for 30 years, retiring in 1973. Elsie devoted her life in retirement to gardening vegetables at her home in Bristol, NY and to the care of her husband, mother sister. She was an avid fan of reading (especially cookbooks!) and watching classic movies. A fine cook and baker, her legendary biscotti were prized and enjoyed by family friends. Visitation is 4-7 PM Thursday, Oct 23 at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd). Elsie's funeral mass will be celebrated at 9 AM Friday at Sacred Heart Cathedral , 296 Flower City Pk, Rochester. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to EISEP program at Catholic Family Center, 87 North Clinton Ave, Rochester, NY 14604 in memory of Elsie.
