Greece: November 17, 2014. Predeceased by his parents, Charles Arlene Weaver; brother, Dean Weaver. Survived by wife, Karen T. (Cosgriff) Weaver; children, Shelly Reitz Robert (Danielle) Weaver; grandchildren, James Reitz, Jordan Weaver, Deanna Spring, Mia Weaver; brother, Donald (Linda) Weaver; sister-in-law, Sue Weaver; several nieces, nephews, cousins dear friends. Visitation is 4-8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd). Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Good Days Special Times, 1332 Pittsford-Mendon Rd, Mendon, NY 14506 or a charity of your choice in Gary's memory. Born on June 16, 1951, Gary grew up on Ireland Road in Clarkson. In his youth, he worked as a pin setter at Pleasure Lanes and also worked on farms picking cherries. After graduating from Hilton High School, Gary worked for Eastman Kodak for over 28 years and then worked for Hertz Rent-A-Car for over 15 years. A family man, Gary loved getting together at the house and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a good teacher to them. Some of his other favorite activities included golf, bowling, and he was a member of the Lakeshore Country Club. Gary enjoyed watching all sports and watching television, especially the Dick Van Dyke show, Three Stooges, and the Lone Ranger. Family and friends would best describe Gary as someone with a wonderful sense of humor who was witty, thoughtful, a handyman, and well-loved and liked by all who knew him. Gary will be greatly missed.
