Generoso served in Sicily as a Brigadiere (Seargeant) in the Italian Police. While he was stationed there he met Zina at a dance. Little did they know at the time she would become the love of his life, get married and have two loving sons. Once they moved to America and came to Rochester, NY Generoso began working for General Motors. His dedication to working hard and being loyal saw him through until his retirement some 30 years later. When Generoso wasn't working he found himself enjoying, golf, bocce, Serie A Soccer and he was a very active volunteer at St. Theodore's Church. All his sons needed to do was say something at their home needed to be done and before they knew it Generoso had the task completed. His favorite sports teams that he rooted for were the Napoli Soccer Team and the Buffalo Bills. Generoso loved his family unconditionally. Some of his favorite times were spent vacationing with them. He spent time in West Palm Bach every year. Some of the other trips with family he enjoyed included vacationing with family in the Outer Banks and going on cruises to the Bahama's. When people think of Generoso, they think of respect, loyalty and graciousness. Generoso's name suited him, Generoso means generous. He led his life by being one of the most kind and generous person's you could ever meet. He was always there when you needed him and at the drop of a hat he would help anyone. He touched the lives of many and he will most definitely be missed by family and friends.
