Services George's visitation will be held 5-8PM on Friday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Ln (between Rte 390 Long Pond Rd) His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9AM on Saturday at St. Helen's Church, 310 Hinchey Rd. George's graveside inurnment will be held 2PM on Monday at Grove Place Cemetery. Additional Information George was a WWII US Army veteran, serving as an antiaircraft artillery automatic weapons crewman with the 740th battalion. He attended annual reunions with his fellow servicemen and was present every year from 1951 through 2010. George loved playing cards (and winning), woodworking projects, watching old western movies and TV shows, and visiting with relatives and friends. He was especially fond and proud of his dozens of nieces and nephews. George was a supervisor at Caldwell Manufacturing Company, from which he retired in 1980 after 39 years of service. A special thank you to his niece, Doris Hall, for her care and support for the past three years.
