(DiStasio) Hertweck; mother-in-law father-in-law, Maria Andrea DiStasio; sister-in-law, Laura (John) Caiazza; brother sisters, Thomas J. (Eunhee) Hertweck of Clay, NY, Ann Marie Hertweck, Mary M. (Kent) Hankin of Depew, NY; several nieces, nephews , cousins dear friends.
History
Jerry was known by his family and friends as "Mr. Baseball". He was a Teacher at Cardinal Mooney High School for numerous years and retired as a Teacher from the Rush Henrietta School District. Jerry taught Spanish for many years. He was a very loving and committed teacher who was very devoted to his students. Jerry enjoyed traveling to Boston and visiting Captain Jacks in MA. He loved to play watch Baseball and collect Baseball Memorabilia. He liked to travel and take cruises and do everything with his loving wife of 34 years Rosalba. He was a very loving husband and he had a fondness for his family. Jerry was a very outgoing person who had a great sense of humor . He was loved by everyone he met and he will be forever missed.

Services
BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Jerry's Visitation will be Monday May 19, 2008 from 4-8 PM. All are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 9:30 AM at St. Mark's Church (54 Kuhn Rd.) Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
