Gerold R. DeLorme, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully in his home in Rochester, NY, on March 20, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on February 10, 1953, in Rochester, Gerold was known for his kind heart and exceptional skill as a handyman, proudly self-employed and serving his community with dedication and care.

While life presented its challenges, Jerry embraced each moment with resilience and a spirit of generosity that touched the lives of many. He found joy in family gatherings and cherished time spent with his loved ones

Predeceased by his father, Charles (Dorothy) DeLorme & mother, Lois (Charles) Dempsey; sister, Tammy Smith. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Mike) Corey, Rebecca (Shawn) Bunch & Jessica App; grandchildren, Briana, Ashley, Taylor (Edrick), Antonio, Nevaeh, Ryan, Mya & Lexi; great-granddaughter, Luna; siblings, Charles “Skip” (Amanda) DeLorme, Gene (Kathy) DeLorme, Tracy (Mark) D’Amato, Chris (Laura) DeLorme; companion, Rebecca Perry; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Jerry’s life story will be shared during visitation 3:00-6:00pm at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane.
