Giuseppina "Josephine" Cinelli Rochester, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2022, at the age of 98. She is predeceased by her parents; Luigi (Pierina) Galanti; her husband, Francesco; son, Giancarlo; her brother, Quinto; sister, Derna. Josie is survived by her daughter, Adriana Cinelli; son-in-law, Mariano Nepa; daughter-in-law, Franca Cinelli; grandchildren, Tom (Carly) Cinelli, Eric (Marissa) Cinelli, Diana (Antonio) Nepa, and Davide Nepa; great-grandchildren, Alexis Cinelli, Luca Cinelli, Sergio Iacoboni, and Anna Vittoria Iacoboni. Josephine's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 21, at 10:30 AM at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Avenue 14612. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. John Bosco School, 501 Garfield St, East Rochester, NY 14445 Josie was outgoing, warm, friendly & energetic. Family was paramount for her. She was a fantastic cook and she enjoyed sharing her culinary specialties often weekly with family & friends. Her smile lit up even the darkest room. She will be missed by all who knew her.
