Their early years were built around tent and trailer camping with a large involvement in the National Campers and Hikers Association (NCHA). Later in life, Gloria and Herbert became involved in ceramics and opened "Herb's Ceramic Center" which offered a variety of ceramic classes. Gloria also was a secretary in the Intensive Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital, where she retired, returning in later years to the same position at St. Mary's Hospital. Gloria enjoyed a good book, C-span, and vacations with her sister Rosemary. Grandma "GiGi" was a very strong and independent woman that was greatly loved by her family and friends. Her legacy will forever live on as she is deeply missed.
