He met his wife Barbara at his local bank where she was working as a teller at the time. He got to know her better when he happened to see her on the city bus and asked if he can sit next to her. After going on three dates, Jack proposed to Barbara. They were married at Irondequoit Presbyterian Church and went on to have two children, Brad and Doug. Jack and Barbara enjoyed many cruises together and followed their kids throughout Drum Corp. Some of his favorite T.V. shows were Mash and Black Sheep Squadron. He also loved oldies music and all things nautical. Jack was good at fixing things as his children were remembered saying to him "Daddy fick it." Jack was known to be a natural leader, he was organized, industrious and intelligent. Jack was also patriotic and romantic. He liked to tell stories and made friends easy. He will dearly missed by many loved ones and friends and will always be lovingly remembered.
