Unexpectedly, October 3, 2020. James is predeceased by his son, Sammy Calandra; brother, Chuck Calandra; sisters, Lillian Calandra Jennie Orrico. Surviving to mourn his loss is his beloved wife of 64 years, Anne (Pettrone) Calandra; 4 devoted daughters, Lena (Don) Pallini-Hancy, Margaret (Chuck) Melia, Mary (Steve) Donlon Jennie Calandra-Sullivan; grandchildren, Michael (Jennifer Weld) Pallini, Jenelle (Killian Ehrhardt) Pallini, Jim (Hannah) Melia, Stephanie Donlon, Patrick Donlon, Renee` (Scott Henry) Sullivan, Elena Sullivan, Jaymee Sullivan, Randy Sullivan (their father Tom Sullivan), step-grandchildren, Justin (Brianne) Hancy Chantal (Eric Reidman) Hancy; great-grandson, Bjorn Reidman; sister Tina (John) Cianciotto; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Calandra, Ange Lanio, Antoinette Ricci; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends; special life long friends, Tony Yolanda Piccolo. James' life story will be shared during his visitation, Thursday, October 8th, 1-3 6-8 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, 9:30 AM at St. Theodore's Church 168 Spencerport Rd., followed by his burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
