Jim spent his career as a photo manager at Walmart, where he was known for his dedication and friendly demeanor. Outside of work, he enjoyed the simple pleasures in life—fishing, bowling, and savoring a good Manhattan.
A devoted animal lover, Jim will be especially remembered for the deep bond he shared with his beloved fur babies, who brought him immense joy and companionship over the years.
Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for six years as part of the 2nd Battalion, 37th Armory. During his service, he was recognized with several certificates of achievement, a testament to his hard work and commitment.
He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and love for both people and animals.
Jim will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
James is predeceased by his parents, Jack & Edna O’Reilly; siblings, John O’Reilly, Kay Stroud & Patty O’Reilly; godson, Anthony Peters; father-in-law, Francis Balik; sister-in-law, Sue Schell.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Sheryl O’Reilly; children, Shawn O’Reilly, Bridgett O’Reilly & Eric O’Reilly; siblings, Barbara Jean (Chuck) Anschutz, Terry O’Reilly, Elaine O’Reilly, Karen O’Reilly, Sharon Crane & David O’Reilly; special cousin, Robert Pero; special aunt, Carol Green; mother-in-law, Sheila Balik; brother-in-law, Gary Schell; grandchildren, great-grandson & numerous nieces & nephews.
