Ventrella, James J. Gates: December 2, 2015, passed away peacefully at the age of 81, after a brief illness, with his family at his side. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 41 years, Maureen; parents Vito Nancy; brother Leo Ventrella. Survived and loved by his wife, Carole; children, Lora (Timothy) Miller, Michael (Diane) Ventrella James J. (Mary) Ventrella Jr; grandchildren, Crystal (Mitch) Englert, Julie (Brandon) Lawatsch, Zack, Chris, Jake, Tony, Nick Amanda Ventrella; great-granddaughters, Emma Lily; sister, Catherine Kneiss; brother, Nicholas Ventrella; several nieces, nephews, extended family friends. Jim was the longtime owner of AAA Television Service in Gates. James's visitation will be held 3-7 PM on Sunday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10AM on Monday at St. Helen's Church. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations may be sent to American Cancer Society, PO Box 7, E.
