James Louis Walsh
Jim was the founder of Jamro Automotive on Brown Street in Rochester, a long-time parishioner of Most Precious Blood Church, former member of Brook-Lea CC and a true Yankees fan.
Jim went to his Heavenly Home on December 14, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. In Heaven he joins his parents Jim and Florence Cicoria Walsh, his brother Peter Walsh and his father and mother-in-law Augie and Lorraine Vieira.
He remains in the hearts of his family: his wife of 64 years, Rosalie Vieira Walsh, his children Lorrie and Steve Modica, Lisa and Steve Capizzi, and Lynn and Jason Dates. His grandchildren were the lights of his life-Anne and Jordan Eich, Nicole Dates, and Hailey Dates. Jim's passing leaves a hole in the hearts of his siblings and their spouses: Noreen DeMarse Carlson and John; Kevin and Marianne Walsh, and his sister-in-law, Kathy Walsh. Related by marriage and friendship, Joe and Connie Capizzi will miss the special bond they shared.
Having been predeceased by many dear aunts and uncles, Jimmy is survived by Uncle Peter Cicoria and Aunt Vi Kullick. He was fortunate to be loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jim had a multitude of dear friends and was especially blessed by the dedication of Jasper Talone, Red Fedele and the "Boys of Madison High."
Jim's family is grateful for the exceptional team of caregivers who made it possible for him to remain at home.
Donations in Jim's memory will be greatly appreciated by Holy Apostles Church for use in their many neighborhood outreach programs. Donations can be made to Holy Apostles Church, 7 Austin Street, Rochester, NY 14606.
