Survived by loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Ruth Wilkins; children, Debra (Steven) Perticone, James (Lynne Christie), Scott (Lenore), Steven, Daniel, Lori(Craig) Piccarreto Shelley Gurski; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Arlene Cason; many nieces nephews; his beloved dog Rustie. Services James visitation will be held 4-8PM on Thursday, March 1st at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte 390 Long Pond Rd) His funeral service will be celebrated 10AM on Friday at Greece Assembly of God Church, 750 Long Pond Rd, Rochester NY 14612. Additional Information James was retiree of Eastman Kodak Company where he worked for 35 years. James served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He is a quiet, but strong silent type person. A good husband and family man. James married his wife Ruth on August 27, 1955 in Holy Cross Church. They met in a typing class at Charlotte High School. He liked reading, especially history of WWII. He liked to attend Red Wings baseball games and go deer hunting. James liked to vacation in Ft. Pierce, Florida where he enjoyed golfing, shuffleboard, bowling and playing bocci.
