History She is survived by her children, Pamela Joseph Biracree-Accorso, Stephen Theresa Biracree; three granddaughters, Jessica, Catherine Natalie Accorso; many dear cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Donations In lieu of flowers, Masses may be offered for the repose of Jane's soul. Services BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc. 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Jane's Visitation will be on Sunday from 1-5 PM. All are invited to attend Jane's Funeral Mass on Monday at 9:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church (3003 Dewey Ave.) Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Additional Information Jane was the youngest of the five children of Florence Young and Samuel Luscher. Jane grew up with her sisters Alberta and Kathleen (Kay) and her brothers Orin and Carl on Treyer Street in St. Michael's parish near Clinton Avenue. Jane graduated from Nazareth Academy in 1940 and worked for John Hancock Insurance. In 1952, on Flag Day, Jane married Leonard Biracree at Holy Rosary Church. They had two children, Pamela and Stephen. Jane was a devout Catholic and had a tremendous faith in our Blessed Mother. She could often be found with a rosary in her hands. In the Greece community, Jane was active as a leader for the Junior Legion of Mary at Mother of Sorrows Church. She volunteered at the Latta Road Nursing Home assisting with Bingo. Jane loved spending time with her three granddaughters all of whom followed her to Nazareth Academy. In her free time, Jane enjoyed watching old movies and cheering for the Notre Dame football team. She was an avid seamstress. She especially enjoyed machine embroidering decorations on items that she had sewn. Jane enjoyed growing her own herbs for use in her kitchen and each summer, she spent time making homemade strawberry jam with the berries from local orchards. Jane passed away after years of struggling with many health problems. She spent the last 17 months of her life surrounded by the love and care of the community at St. Ann's.
