Janet A. Northrup January 31, 2019, at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband, Gilbert Northrup, parents, Paul and Alma Given, daughter-in-law, Joyce Northrup, and grandson, Tyler Northrup. Janet is survived by her sister Patricia Merchant, 10 children; 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Janet was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was the matriarch of the family and she will be missed as she continues to watch over and guide them each day. Janet's funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 5th, at 9:30 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd, Rochester, NY 14612. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Our Mother of Sorrows.
