Interment Private. Additional Information John was born on Christmas Day 12/25/1951. He was born and grew up in Rochester, NY. His parents were, James and Laura Catone. He went to school and graduated from Aquinas. As a teen and growing up he really liked cars and drag racing. His favorite was Nascar, and he was an avid fan of Jeff Gordon. He had a 1966 Nova, that he dragged on the streets and at Batavia Speedway and Spencer Speedway. John enjoyed being a Christmas baby. He liked playing cards with his family and they also played a lot of Backgammon. John's favorite color was red, he liked Friday night Chinese Dinner and then onto his favorite, an action movie. The best way to describe John is that he was a strong person, he had high energy, he was hard working. He loved his job and was always helpful to others. He would always smile when he had done something for someone else. John really loved life. John will be missed by all who knew him.
