John was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY. As a youth, he played baseball. After serving in the US Army Air Corps, he attended Niagara University. After graduation, he became employed at Moore Business Forms and later worked as a Color Lithographer at Case Hoyt from 1971-1991. John met the love of his life, Jennie, when he moved across the street from her. After getting to know each other and falling in love, they were married on February 20, 1960. John always enjoyed Sunday morning mass and going to breakfast. He often went to Wegman's, McDonald's and the YMCA. His favorite activities included golf and, most importantly, gardening - especially hot peppers and tomatoes. John always attended church and went to the Y and he volunteered at both. He had great experience with Honor Flight and advocated it to fellow veterans. Family and friends will best remember John as being a "good man" and "larger than life". John loved everyone and had an infectious personality. He will be greatly missed.
