History Joe served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1941-1945 stationed in Trinidad, B.W.I.He was employed by General Railway Signal Co. for 36 years and served on the Executive Board of the Local 323 IUE. He also served on the Board of Directors of the GRS Credit Union. He was a life long communicant of St. Augustine`s parish and a member of the Portuguese American Association.
