Survived by his wife Rose (Insalaco) Fico; son Samuel J. (Marsha) Fico; grandchildren, Joseph, Joelle Joanna; great-grandson Tyler Joseph Fico; brother and sisters, Raymond Fico, Bridget Micchia, Sue Perry, Mickey Fichera, Margie (John) Palumbo; sister-in-law Mary Fico; several nieces and nephews.
History
When characterizing the life of his father Joseph Fico, Samuel referred to him as "unselfishly devoted to family first and foremost, friends and faith." Family was above all things. His loving sense of humor will be missed by his family.

Services
BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Joseph's visitation will be Tuesday, May 16th, 2-4 7-9. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Wednesday, 10 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 287 Flower City Parkway. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Additional Information
Joseph enjoyed working with the public. He owned different restaurants around the Rochester Community most notably Fico`s Diner. He worked for the Monroe County Clerks Office. He was also a Court Attendant for Surrogates Court under Judge Telesca. Joseph relished his faith. He served as a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Knights of St. John`s. He was very active in St. Anthony`s Parish functions. He attended daily mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral. He was also a member of the Nocturnal Society at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Joseph had attended the Notre Dame Retreat House in Canandaigua for over 50 straight years. Joseph also served as a member of the UCT.
