At age 91 peacefully on Sunday November 13 surrounded by his family. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Marion E. (Santore) Gurriere; son, John Gurriere; daughter, Loretta (Douglas) Pratt; granddaughters, Michelle (Fiance Thomas Riley, Jr.) Pratt, Christina Pratt; brother, Ray (Dorothy) Gurriere; many nieces nephews.

Services
Joseph's visitation will be Wednesday 5-8 PM at the funeral home 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte 390 Long Pond Rd). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 9:30 AM at Holy Cross Church 4492 Lake Ave. Entombment in White Haven Memorial Park.
Additional Information
Joseph served in the army during WWII, stationed in the Pacific. Joseph was a long-time employee of Eastman Kodak Company, Joe retired and spent many memorable years in Toms River, NJ. Joe and Marion moved back up to the Rochester area to be with their son and daughter; they resided in Greece until his passing.
Joseph enjoyed family get togethers. He enjoyed playing handball and baseball. He was a NY Giants Fan and NY Yankees Fan. He liked spending time on the water, swimming and body surfing. He enjoyed being outdoors in a warm location. He liked to travel and see new places. Joseph enjoyed dancing with his wife Marion. He had strong work ethics. He was a perfectionist, very giving, handy around the house, active, always on the go, had endless energy and very reliable.
The family would like to thank Lifetime Care for making Joseph's shot time in hospice as comfortable as possible.
