He graduated from Jefferson High School and then eventually achieved his Masters Degree from the U of R in Mathematics. Joe served his country in The United States Marines. Joe's attention to detail and perfection made him an excellent carpenter. He could tell you if a molding on a wall was level just by looking at it! He eventually became the Vice President of the Local 85 Carpenter's Union. Through mutual friends, Joe met who would become the love of his life, Jeanne Hotaling. They were married at Holy Rosary Church on August 26,1961(Celebrating 55 Years of Marriage). Their family grew to include three children and five grandchildren. Joe was intelligent, strong willed, had a sense of humor and his trademark unlit cigar was often in the corner of his mouth. He enjoyed jazz music, old movies, watching football, golfing and working in his vegetable garden. Joe will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
