Name: Josephine M. Arlauckas Life Dates: 3/9/1925 - 11/6/2012 History Josephine passed away unexpectedly Nov. 6, 2012, at home after a long, happy life. She is pre-deceased by her parents; her husband, Tony, who died in 1994 after 47 years of marriage; her sisters, Celia (Dick) Lallucci and Annie (Ron) Orlando; and her brothers, Paul (Nin) and John (Margaret) Vacca. She is survived by her dear and caring sister, Isabel; her children, Tony Mike (Marion) Arlauckas; Barbara (Andrew) Jarzyniecki; Joanne (Charlie) Bakeman; and Joseph Arlauckas (fiancée, JoAnn Hansen). She was the proud grandmother of nine: Karla Jarzyniecki and Dana (Jay) Vasser; A. Chris (Kelly) and Shannon Arlauckas; Chelsie and Jessica Bakeman; and Dane, Tess and José Arlauckas (mother Kathy). Services The family invites visitors to call Friday, Nov. 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bartolomeo and Perotto Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane, Rochester. A funeral mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Avenue, Rochester. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Avenue, Rochester. Additional Information Josephine was born March 9, 1925, in Rochester to Camille and Anthony Vacca. She loved her family above all things -- cooking for them, especially. She could produce banana bread on demand! She was a devoted mother and wife, a wonderful grandma, and a friend to many. She was a diehard Yankees fan. She loved going to the casino to gamble and her favorite game was "Let It Ride". She was an active member of St. Anthony's parish and participated in the 200 Club, Rosary Society, and spaghetti dinners there. Josephine will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
