Josephine was born February 4, 1923 in Rochester, NY to Mariano Lucy Brucato. Raised Catholic, she has always been very spiritual and faith-filled. She worked as an executive secretary at Harris Corporation for 12 years. Her husband, James, was one of the greatest joys in her life and she loved spending time with him and was passionate about her family. Some of her favorite activities included celebrating their anniversary, camping, traveling and spending time in Florida, and she like to sew. Josephine enjoyed big band music, Frank Sinatra, and Tony Bennett. Josephine was a member of the VCT Club, Moose Lodge, Eagles Club, and liked to go dancing on Saturday nights with her husband, Jim. Family and friends would best describe Josephine as someone who was easy going, well-liked, inspired others, loved dogs, was the matriarch, caregiver, precise, intelligent, a "power house", high energy, and was a great cook. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
