Doell; daughters, Charlene Doell Sara (Caitlin Tramel) Doell; grandson Charles Doell-Lewis; brother Peter (Alice) VanPeursem and her beloved dog, Samantha. For more information about Judy please visit www.bartolomeo.com Judy's life story will be shared during her visitation at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.), Tuesday, April 9th, 2-4 7-9 PM. Her funeral service will be celebrated Wednesday, April 10th, 11AM at the funeral home. Entombment in Oakwood Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 in Judy's memory. Judy was born March 1, 1947 to her parents Harold Helen (Webb) Burgert. Their family made their home here in Rochester where Judy has spent her whole life. In March of 1965 Judy met Chuck Doell while working at the Lyell Ave. Wegmans. Their courtship began and the two were married in November of 1969. Judy's career as a Registered Nurse spanned for over 25 years. She began her career at what was the then Park Ridge Hospital and later became Unity Hospital. She also served Visiting Nurse Service for over 4 years. Her family was comprised of her husband, Chuck; daughters, Charlene Sara; grandson, Charlie and beloved K9 companion of 13 years, Sammi. Judy was proud of her daughter's career paths, Charlene as a School Teacher and Sara as a College Women's Head Golf Coach. She was always supportive and looked forward to events that grandson Charlie participated in especially while playing he was baseball. Sammi had a special spot in her heart. Judy had a true love and affection for dogs. Through the years Judy and Chuck enjoyed attending Charlene's dance recitals. Thankfully they both enjoyed travelling and looked forward to following Sara while she was playing and coaching golf. She loved the outdoors and going camping was one of her favorite pastimes. While camping with family, Judy had favorite campgrounds to include Hamlin Beach, site #104 and Lakeside Beach. Sitting around a camp fire, sharing stories, for her was a joy! Holiday family traditions were of huge importance and looked forward to by Charlene Sara. Traditions begun by Judy and Chuck their girls still carry on today. Christmas wouldn't have been complete without Chuck and Judy reciting together 'twas The Night Before Christmas. Judy's daughters fondly remember frantically searching about the house for their Easter baskets. In her free time, she looked forward going out to lunch and dinner with friends and family. Judy liked going to see new movie releases with Chuck at Tinsletown Theatre in Gates. Judy could be described as: loyal, honest to a fault, strong willed, a worrier, caring, thoughtful inquisitive.
