Kevin John Knapp (March 29, 1953 - June 8, 2019) Passed with peace on June 8, at age 66 after prolonged illness. Predeceased by his parents John and Helen Knapp, Kevin is survived by his wife Shelly, three sons Daniel (Kim), Timothy, and Jonmichael (Veronica); granddaughters Marley (11) and Marina (8 months); brothers Terrence, and Shaun (Kristine); nieces Joy Scott, Tanya (Patrick), and Beth Latone (Phil); and nephew Shawn (Alysha); loving aunts, uncles and cousins, and many life-long friends. Kevin was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney and was a self-taught electronics technician by trade but music was his heart and soul. As a multitalented musician who sang, played the Hammond B3 like nobody's business, and could wail on lead guitar, Kevin performed in several local bands. We won't be able to listen to "Babe" by Styx or "Since I Fell for You" by the Rascals without remembering Kevin's soulful renditions. He also was an antique car enthusiast and collector, remembering his '51 Ford, his bright red T-Bird, and his classic Mercury among others. Kevin will stay with us all through memories: "Dad phrases," Les Paul guitars, a B3 organ, knee slapping at Knapp humor, the Rascals, and Kevin's more than "vibrant" expressions.
