Kirk grew up in Charlotte, NY. He attended Holy Cross School and then Cardinal Mooney. Later in life, he met his wife Pat, while working security at McCurdy's. He Pat, raised 3 great kids in Greece, where he would enjoy watching them play sports. Kirk loved to cook, and loved to share his mother's recipe for meatballs and roasted potatoes. He was very picky with his ingredients, could cook anything and the food never ran out. He loved to travel too, Europe, cruises and Disney trips. Playing card games like Euchre gin rummy was something he enjoyed in his down time. He had a lot of memories of time spent with his Canadian cousins on their farm, specifically exchanging coins as he was an avid collector. And his favorite car... a 1979 Lincoln Towncar with all the bells and whistles also came with many great memories. Kirk had a sense of humor and was a history buff, so it was no surprise that he loved the Three Stooges, Marx Brothers and old movies. You'd also see him watching his beloved NY Mets and San Francisco 49ers. He was knowledgable, sometimes outspoken, but kind and loving. He valued his family friends above all else, and enjoyed throwing parties for those he loved.
