Name: LaVerne Charles (Chuck) Hackett Life Dates: 6/9/1929 - 6/23/2010 City Of Birth: Canandaigua, NY History Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Louise (DeLeo) Hackett; loving children, Deborah (Patrick) Fisher, Thomas (Judith) Hackett Rose (Timothy) Wood; three grandsons that LaVerne was very proud of, Timmy Wood, Michael Fisher, Scott Hackett; sisters, Rosemarie (John) Duemmling, Jane Fletcher, Dorothy Newkirk; brother, David Hackett; loving nieces nephews, Coureen (Steve) Russell, Gia DeLeo, Dino (Monica) DeLeo and their families; several loving cousins; special "Family" Laura and Stephen Korn. Donations In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Good Days and Special Times, Inc., 1332 Pittsford-Mendon Rd., Mendon, NY 14506-9732 in LaVerne's memory. Services Friends and family may call Saturday 4-8 PM Sunday 2-7 PM at the Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte 390 Long Pond Rd). LaVerne's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church (4100 Lyell Rd). Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Additional Information Born June 9, 1929 in Canandaigua, NY. Died suddenly on June 23, 2010 at the age of 81, after a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He will be greatly missed by all that have known him. The Hackett family would like to thank Dr. James Iacobucci and staff and Dr. Maryann Morgan and staff for the wonderful and loving care that LaVerne received during his long illness.
