Chili: December 5, 2017, at the age 70. Linda is survived by her husband of 48 years, John W. Granville; daughters, Tricia (Anthony) Kramer & Alicia Granville; grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Emily & Joseph; sister, Patricia Marie LaMonica; and sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews & dear friends. Linda’s visitation will be held 1-3 & 5-7 on Sunday, December 10th at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10AM on Monday at St. Pius the Tenth Church. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester NY 14642 in Linda’s memory.
Linda was born on August 27, 1947 in Rochester, NY to Joseph & Emma LaMonica. During her youth, she was a Business Manager for her high school year book and was very active as an Italian Club member. Linda worked as a Payroll Specialist at Leo J. Roth for over 30 years. She met her husband John at the Old Varity Inn. They married and went on to have two daughters that they adore, Tricia and Alicia. Linda and John were married for 48 years. Some of Linda’s favorite life events were family trips to Virginia Beach, Disney World, Caribbean Cruise and vacations to Arizona. She was very active parishioner at St. Pius X and had a group of friends at Most Precious Blood that she spent time with. Linda also kept close ties with her classmates and friends from Nazareth, being dubbed the “Naz Girls lunch group.” Most of all, she loved attending their grandchildren’s sporting events and being their biggest cheerleader. Some of Linda’s favorite T.V. shows were Murder She Wrote, NCIS, Empire and Downtown Abbey. Linda was known to speak her mind and she did it with love. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Linda will always be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her many friends and family.
