Lucille Zicari
June 11, 1921 ~ April 5, 2020
ROCHESTER - Lucille died of natural causes on April 5, 2020 at the age of 98. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Sylvester Zicari; her granddaughter, Nancy Zicari Infantino; two sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her three children Bruce (Pat) Zicari, Craig (Anne Coon) Zicari Gail (Tom) Wagner; seven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, all of whom loved her and kept in touch with her.
Lucille was a dedicated, generous and loving person, an excellent cook, a prolific letter writer, and a successful fisherwoman on the St. Lawrence River where she and Sy spent many happy summers at their summer home on the water in Clayton, New York. Although for many years a homemaker and a volunteer, she worked early on at Strong Memorial Hospital where she was assigned to the surgical unit and served as a scheduler in part due to her excellent handwriting. A special thanks to the staff of The Friendly Home who cared for her during the last four years.
