Lucy passed peacefully into eternal life on September 21, 2025. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Louis J. Gallo. Lucy is survived by her children, Dr. Louis (Mary Lou) Gallo, Sandra (Michael) Wilmot; grandchildren Stephanie (Jason) Yarbrough, Stephen Gallo, Kari Wilmot, and Julie (Mark) Cinquegrana; and great-grandchildren, Anna Rose, Monroe, and Leo.
Lucy was a lifelong resident of the 10th Ward and greatly cherished her friends and neighbors. Her life was full of travel and charitable activities. She was an active member of the Italian Women’s Civic Club as well as The Seton Club of Rochester. Some of the relationships she valued the most in her life came from being a member of both of these clubs. Lucy and Louis worked together with the Sister Cities Exchange Program and together made countless trips to Italy and Europe.
Lucy’s deepest devotion was to her family and she doted on each and every member with cards, calls, and reminders of her love. Her warm and engaging spirit will be missed deeply.
Lucy’s life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 4th at 10:00 AM at the Linehan Chapel at Nazareth College (Golisano Academic Center,1st floor) 4245 East Avenue 14618. Private interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
