Additional Information
Mabel assisted in the church nursery. She was very strong in her faith, and she was in the Senior Citizen Group. Early in Mabel's life, she took over the role of Mother, as her Mother died when she was 10. Her special family functions were Barton Family Reunions and any get togethers were a celebration to Mabel. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, baking, (and she was known for her pies) camping and traveling, to Hawii Alaska.
What gave Mabel the most enjoyment in life was her family and she was most passionate about young children. She grew up on a farm and was an organic gardener.
The best way to descibe her is that she was kind, lady like, did her best, put others first, frugal for herself, but generous to others.
