History Fred attended the Academy of Aeronautics at Long Island University. Following his education, he spent 20 years with the Boeing Co, Sikorsky Aircraft Grumman Corporation. Fred was engaged in destructive and non-destructive testing of flight hardware, including Lunar Module Landing Gear Flight Crew Restraint Hardware. The next 20 years was spent at the Dayton T. Brown Company, designing and building computer aided hydraulic test stands which allowed fully automated "hands-off" testing of hydraulic flight hardware. This included pumps, motors, linear activators valves. Many cross country flights to Air Force and Navy bases, including aircraft carriers to deliver/commission/train personnel on the proper care and feeding of flight component hardware. Fred enjoyed golf, reading gardening.
