Margaret is predeceased by her loving husband Charles Frosino; grandson Anthony Frosino; siblings, Isabelle DiCrasto, Alphonse Bovenzi, Rachel Melito, James Bovenzi, Joseph Bovenzi Anthony Bovenzi. She is survived by her adoring children, Kathleen (Richard) Acton, Charlene (Mark) Battle Anthony (June) Frosino; grandchildren, Craig (Chavie) Acton, Christopher Battle, Alexandra Battle, Victoria Battle Michael Frosino; great-grandchildren, Lily, Noa Ariana Acton; siblings, Phyllis Sinisgalli, Samuel (Marie) Bovenzi Theresa Bovenzi; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Special thanks to the staff at the Wegman Cottages at Unity Touching Hearts at Home caregivers. Margaret's life story will be shared during her visitation, Friday, May 10th, 2-4 6-8 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Saturday, May 11th, 9AM at St. Louis Church, 64 S. Main St., Pittsford, immediately followed by her internment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Mt. Carmel House, 268 Frisbee Hill Rd., Hilton, NY 14468 in her memory. We loved those Niagara Falls trips that we took each and every year during summer and all those happy gatherings including Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We always looked forward to her famous homemade stuffing, no one could make it like her and she was a master sauce maker. Her daughter in law came over specifically to learn how to make sauce along with her grandaughter Tori. She had such a special touch with that kettle of sauce. Her other famous Italian dishes was rappis and stuffed artichokes. As a young girl she enjoyed weekends at the movies with her girlfriend, sisters and cousin along with cutting a rug so to speak roller skating. Thats how she met her future husband Charles at the roller skating rink. One look at her and he was smitten. There was another young man there that was taken with her but seeing he did not have much money to date her, he borrowed money from Charles to take Margaret out. Something must have changed along the way because she and Charles started steady dating and then marriage in the horizon. A very determined woman who was never afraid to speak her mind and her famous phrase was I'm making a statement and she meant it too. She was a very independent woman who lived on her own after the death of her husband in 1998 and continued to do so till her last fall in May 2018. She was a fan of the Sopranos and Dancing with the Stars was at the top of the list. You would not even think of calling her on a Monday night while she was trying to watch her Dancing with the Stars. One thing can be said about her was that she was a strong lady who was determined and would not give up on something till it was done. Margaret enjoyed the simple things in life, being a wife and mother, spending time with her family, having people over to enjoy one of her favorite dishes, crocheting, saying the rosary on a daily basis and how she loved first of the month breakfast outings with her son in law. When Marge fell and broke her hip last May, she endured numerous other health issues afterwards. Never ever did she complain or be bitter or angry. She always came back and rallied and amazed us all including her desire to go to Papa Joe's for chicken french just 3 weeks before her passing. The social director was amazed at how well she ate and she so enjoyed this outing. Who would think that 3 weeks later life would not be the same and she went home to be with her loved ones. As her son in law Mark said, it was mom's last summer, she had a good life and now she was ready to enter a new life. She went to St. Mary's school and upon leaving went to work to help support the family. Worked at a baby laundry for close to 2 years and upon marrying Charles she continued working there till becoming a mother after 2 some years of marriage. She ended up being a stay at home mom of 3 after giving birth to her first child. As a young adult she developed an interested in roller skating and after hesitating to go roller skating one evening with her girlfriend it was then that she met her husband to be and life could not have been any better. Margaret was a loving grandmother who doted on her grandchildren and one of their favorite fun times together was going to McDonalds and while the kids were playing Marge and Charlie loved their cheesburger,fries and coffee which was a weekly ritual. She enjoyed those Sunday outings with her family where they would sit around the table and go over the world events over a good cup of coffee and can;t forget the donuts. During her later years she rebonded with her cousins Marge and Vincent. So it became a Thursday tradition where Marge and Vincent would come over for a cup of coffee and one of Margaret's famous cheesecakes or Italian cookies. Making memories was what Margaret was all about, she loved family and friends with a passion and continued doing this till she was no longer able to live independently in her apartment.
