GREECE - October 19, 2019. Predeceased by her husband, Anthony "Pabs" Mastrodonato; parents, Theresa George Mantione; sisters, Mary Vitale Dolores Baldassare. She is survived by her children, Anthony "Tony" (Helen) Mastrodonato, Dianne (Don) Rogers, George (Cathy) Mastrodonato; grandchildren, Michele (Scott Trinkle) Valerio, Christina (Andy Rodgers) Valerio, Jeffrey (Jen) Mastrodonato, Cherie (Ryan) Peterson, Scott (Danielle) Rogers, Venessa (fiance Michael Marciano) Haley, Margaret "Margie" (Zak) Webb; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews dear friends. Margaret's life story will be shared during her visitation, Wednesday, October 23rd, 4-8PM at Bartolomeo Perotto Funeral Home, Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, October 24th, 9:30AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd., immediately followed by her entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flower's donations may be sent to Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Roch., NY 14620. Margaret was born to her parents, George Teresa Mantione, June 11, 1927. Their family grew up in the Sherman St. neighborhood. She later attended Jefferson High School. She had worked in various jobs and once her family came she took on the role of taking care of them. She eventually worked at Eastman Kodak Company for over 13 years. Everything that mattered to Margaret in her life was family. Family wedding's, family birth's and all family gathering's were all special to her. She was the consumate caregiver to children. She was the perfect grandmother, often telling her grandkids "please don't tell your mom" she and her grandchildren truly had a sepcial bond between them. During her free time Margaret enjoyed: playing cards, trips to the casino, games of chance, cooking, dancing, line dancing and was an active particiapnt in events at Dunn towers. Her music tasted found her listenting to Big Band Music and songs of her times. Her TV tastes included the likes of, Wheel of Fortune, Let's Make a Deal, Law Order and anythnig on the Hallmark Channel. Margaret's warm, caring and fun loving personality will be missed by all who knew and loved her. This time of the year was special. She would pour all the love she could into making apple pies for everyone in her family. These just werent any old Apple Pies "they were the best" good news, she has passed on her secrets to family members!
